The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity from the UN. Launched in 2015 to build on the Millennium Development Goals and seeking to complete what they did not achieve, the Sustainable Development Goals set out a journey to stimulate action. The Fashion industry is considered by the UN Conference on Trade and Development to be the second most polluting industry in the world and produces 10% of all humanity’s carbon emissions.
