Sustainable clothing brand Thought – formerly known as Braintree – has launched its s/s 18 selling season with a new pricing structure. Having seen record pre-orders for its a/w 17 collection in February, Thought has spent time looking at the challenges faced by its stockists, and has responded with a new season’s collection designed to help its retail partners to maximise sales.
The brand will reduce its wholesale prices for s/s 18, sacrificing some of the wholesale margin, and offering a 2.6 mark up for retailers.
“We felt it would be an especially strong message based on the current economic climate and to further establish the great relationships we have with our existing retail customers, as well as broadening our appeal to the wider market,” says founder John Snare. “Our wholesale customers will always be our number one priority, and therefore we will always look for ways to ensure that our partnerships are working to the best possible level.”
Thought will unveil its latest range at Moda Woman this season. As an award-winning sustainable clothing brand, Thought is made from natural, sustainable and recycled fibres such as cotton, hemp and bamboo. From seed to stitch every unique piece has been exclusively designed in-house and offers a contemporary mix of garments and accessories that are desirable, wearable and affordable.
