Last month saw artisan footwear label Pinoso’s make its foray into the UK market. Situated in the small Spanish town of Pinoso on the Murcia / Alicante border, Pinoso’s is characterised by local artisan craftsmanship and longstanding traditions in the art of shoe-making.
Having already established points across Europe, the US and Asia, Pinoso’s selected Moda Footwear as its gateway into the UK.
“Our stand was well-located within Moda Footwear, and we met many people who were interested in our product,” says brand director Francisco Albert. “We are coming back to the February edition to build upon those contacts, and to showcase our all-year-round range of products and diabetic linings, which are carving a niche for us in the UK.”
At first glance a small, traditional Spanish shoemaker, Pinoso’s is actually built on some pretty big global innovations. The brand specialises in comfort across the board, and offers diffusion lines specialising in the therapeutic treatment of diabetes, and options for the incorporation of orthopaedic insoles.
For those whose blood circulation may be compromised as a result of diabetes, the right shoe can make a world of difference. And if the five-star reviews – written by those who have discovered the brand – are anything to go by, Pinoso’s is the brand to try for anyone seeking hand-stitched shoes and superior comfort.
“Pinoso’s is definitely not just for those with diabetes or orthopaedic requirements,” says Albert. “The brand has become well-known because of its quality and comfort properties, and high-quality components of soft leathers, antibacterial linings and light outsoles.”
Ahead of its return to Moda Footwear, Pinoso’s is seeking to appoint a UK distributor, as well as connecting with those retailers who made contact at the show last month. Get in touch with the brand here, and see the new autumn range at Moda Footwear on 18-20 February next year.
