Moda Footwear’s Mephisto has reported that its special edition sneaker has sold out within just a few hours. The French brand joined forces with US retailer Concepts to create its Match shoe, which was available on a limited edition basis within its New York, Boston and Dubai stores.
The success of the design has encouraged many sneaker fans to see the Mephisto label in a new light, and those at the helm of the brand have hinted that this may be the start of a new era for Mephisto.
“Classic sneaker models are now in popular demand worldwide, and Match is a must-have fashion classic that should be in every serious and exclusive sneaker collection,” says marketing and communication manager Christine Steindl.
