Q&A: Sabbot Headwear

Sabbot Headwear arrives at Moda Accessories with a firm commitment to fur-free designs and fashion that makes headlines. Director Stuart Horne tells us more. 

Q: What’s the story behind Sabbot Headwear
A: We are all about supplying stunning headwear for ladies and girls with a wide appeal across the age demographics that suits everyone’s tastes in style and colour. The brand was introduced three years ago by its Czech owners Brand Promotions; a company with 15 years’ experience in headwear. 

Q: What is the brand’s point of difference? 
A: All Sabbot knits are manufactured in the Czech Republic, which gives us huge flexibility with regards to the quality, range and delivery of our products.

Q: What prompted your decision to show at Moda Accessories? 
A: Sabbot was brought into the UK last November, and we have been selling into a few select local boutiques with huge success. It was our stockists that suggested we consider Moda Accessories, and we feel that this is the ideal time for the brand to launch into the high street with a bigger wholesale presence.

Q: What are you hoping to achieve at the show? 
A: We currently sell into premium golf resorts such as Gleneagles and Turnberry, but we are hoping to generate enquiries from high street retailers and boutiques looking for quality and stylish headwear. 

Q: is there anything else we need to know about Sabbot? 
A: We are passionate about only using alternatives to fur without any compromise to that look. Fur is all about vanity and, due to the quality of the faux fur that we use, the majority of our consumers cannot tell the difference between fur and faux.
