Q&A: Amanda Salisbury

As a regular exhibitor at Moda Woman, Lily & Me has evolved season after season to become a womenswear staple. Marketing manager Amanda Salisbury explains why the brand has already committed to return to Moda in August, and what the new spring season has in store.

Four weeks on from the show, how successful was Moda for you?
The February show was good for Lily & Me. We generated both new business and existing customer sales, and it’s a great show for Lily & Me to showcase its latest collection and increase brand awareness.

What prompted you to make an early commitment to the August edition?
Moda continues to be a core part of our sales and marketing activities. It’s a show that our customers know we will be attending and, while it continues to be successful for us, we will continue to exhibit.

What’s new this spring / summer 2018?
Responding to customer feedback, Lily & Me will be introducing two drops this season. The first will feature transitional early season pieces such as our popular brushed knit and layering cotton jerseys, whilst the second takes you from Spring right through to high Summer, with easy care linen blends, cotton dobby, new soft woven modal and an on trend printed chambray.

Our bespoke prints will be available in two beautiful colour palettes. The first, ‘Scandinavian Spring’ features soft tonal blues and greens. Fresh easy tones to inspire your wardrobe. The second, Havana' features hot pinks, corals and gorgeous brights – think tropical paradise!

What are you hoping to achieve at the show this time around?
We hope to continue to grow our brand awareness, while nurturing new and existing customer relationships. We have a very strong collection for s/s 18 and Moda as is great platform to showcase our beautiful textile designs and gorgeous prints to help us grow our business.
