Moda Woman stalwart Latte has attributed its phenomenal success to the strong partnerships forged with independent retailers over the years – and has revealed that the brand will never diversify into a standalone business model.
Operating as a genuine boutique Italian designer brand – both designed and manufactured in Italy - the company is firmly committed to working in partnership with its 150 stockists nationwide. Those at the helm of the label have even attributed its “best ever show” at this season’s Moda Woman to its dedicated business model operating solely as a brand, and not a retailer.
“Our hearts have always been with the indies,” says director Adele Black. “We don’t even have an on-line shop, let alone a standalone store of our own or a concession within a department store – we genuinely drive every single enquiry to the nearest independent Latte stockist.”
Feedback on the latest s/s 16 collection at this season’s Moda saw the brand’s stockists praise its affordable prices, quality manufacture and genuine Italian flair. Specifically spring has seen Latte focus on fluid and feminine silhouettes with a colour palette inspired by Italian cuisine, bringing crisp Limoncello yellow, warm espresso shades and Baci blues to the fore of the season.
“The photoshoot for spring took place in the alleyways of Florence to really capture the Italian vibe of the new collection,” says Black. “Latte ticks all the boxes of quality, style and affordability for retailers, and we are committed to strengthening our partnerships with them for seasons to come.”
