Men’s tailoring label Skopes has appointed a new face ahead of the arrival of the s/s 18 season. Leo Lachs has assumed the newly-created role of business development manager for the brand’s wholesale division, heralding a new era of development for the brand as of this season’s Moda Gent.
“Moda will be my first opportunity to see the wider industry and to introduce myself to our many customers,” says Lachs. “I am thrilled to be joining a stable, profitable business with a strong family ethic, and I look forward to getting to know our customers and understanding their needs.”
For established, Yorkshire-based business Skopes – a longstanding regular at Moda Gent – the arrival comes just ahead of the focal point of the buying calendar. Leo Lachs will be tasked be taking the business to the next level, bringing new customers on board while staying loyal to the brand’s hallmark ethics.
“This is an exciting new chapter for the company and shows our continuing commitment in developing our wholesale business, which was started by my Grandfather 70 years ago,” says managing director Simon Cope. “On a personal level, it is fantastic that we are developing a new generation to take our business forward.
