Moda’s seminar programme is a highlight of the show, helping visitors to get ahead in business with the help of experts in their field. Over the next two weeks, Moda will introduce each speaker as part of its Meet the Speakers series, allowing buyers to prepare for the exhibition above and beyond the business of buying. Today, the spotlight is on marketing expert Karen Campbell.
Sometimes, it helps to see business from a different perspective. For Karen Campbell, her multi-faceted career has allowed her to see the branded fashion industry from all angles, and it’s that experience that inspired her to launch her own marketing business.
Not that Karen Campbell Marketing is a new launch as such – rather the evolution of all of her brand expertise to date. And it’s that aspect of business – the secret to rebranding and evolving without ever losing your identity – that will be the focus of her thought-provoking seminar at Moda this August.
Karen Campbell is well-established on the London circuit. Her extensive work organising branding workshops and network events have made her somewhat of an industry personality. Originally a trade fashion journalist with leading trade title MWB, Campbell went on to hold positions at global fashion labels Diesel and Fenchurch before taking the decision to launch her own marketing services, with the aim of helping those in business to get the edge on their competition.
Funny, engaging and ever-so-slightly irreverent, Campbell is as approachable as she is knowledgeable. Don’t miss her seminar – How to rebrand without losing your identity – on Monday 7 August at 16.15.
