Moda visitors are invited to Coppafeel’s inaugural Boob Brunch at this season’s show. Taking place just prior to the first lingerie catwalk on Sunday morning, Boob Brunch will bring the community together to raise awareness of Coppafeel and its work.
Attendees at the event will be invited to enjoy canapes of smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, cherry tomato and smoked bacon tartlets, mini ham and Gruyere cheese croissants, skewered fruits and mini muffins, kindly provided Moda’s host venue the NEC. The event will herald a nationwide campaign to host Boob Brunches all over the UK in a bid to raise awareness of Coppafeel’s vital work in diagnosing and beating breast cancer sooner.
As a thank you for attending the debut event, visitors will also have the chance to enter a competition to win a pair of VIP tickets to see Take That live at Birmingham’s Genting Arena.
Coppafeel is beneficiary behind last year’s Intimate Ball, the after-show event which brought the lingerie and womenswear trade together to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The charity was launched by Kris Hallenga - who herself was diagnosed with breast cancer aged just 23 – and works tirelessly to encourage all women whatever their age to get to know their breasts in order to spot changes earlier.
Moda’s Boob Brunch will take place at 11am on Sunday 19 February around the catwalk in Hall 20.
