Moda Lingerie & Swimwear has revealed a strong line-up of early signings ahead of its a/w 17 edition. Bolstered by a strong performance in August, the exhibition’s Active area will return with an enhanced presence for February, building upon its successful launch at the sprint event.
“I was pleased to see the addition of the Active area when I attended Moda in August,” says Elaine Reed, buyer at national retailer JD Williams. “Activewear has become a large part of our business recently and, although the area was quite small this season, I am looking forward to seeing a bigger focus on Moda Active in light of the recent trend for activewear.”
Having launched as a new label within Active last season, Acai Activewear has already confirmed its attendance at the February event. The burgeoning brand will be joined by an extensive line-up throughout the wider lingerie and swimwear exhibition, including Empreinte, Parfait, Lepel, Charnos, Maison Lejaby (pictured), Cyberjammies and newcomers Rainbow Lingerie and Something Different.
“Moda Lingerie & Swimwear continues to evolve season after season with the introduction of new and relevant product categories within the wider context of the UK’s main trade event for lingerie and swimwear,” says event director Penny Robinson. “Our line-up for autumn will build upon this momentum, and buyers seeking new inspiration for the autumn season will not be disappointed.”
