Growth for Wacoal Europe

Moda Lingerie & Swimwear exhibitor Wacoal Europe has announced a new era of growth, heralded by the appointment of a new commercial director. Dean Cooper, who confirms his appointment today, will spearhead a new phase of development across the entire Wacoal portfolio of labels, which includes Fantasie (pictured), Freya, Elomi, B.Tempt’d and Goddess.

Having held previous positions with Diesel, Burberry, Camper and Paul Smith, Cooper is tasked with delivering a new sales strategy for Wacoal Europe on a global scale.

“I am delighted to announce Dean’s appointment,” says Wacoal Europe’s CEO Geoff Embley. “He has a wealth of experience in building and delivering the sales strategy of some of the best international apparel brands, and this will be hugely valuable in furthering the growth and development of the Wacoal Europe portfolio.”

Established in the Japanese city of Kyoto in 1949, Wacoal Europe has developed into a global force in the intimate apparel trade, with global presence valued at $2bn dollars and subsidiaries in all major eastern markets and Wacoal America in the west.
