Premium swimwear makes waves this season as the industry’s most exclusive labels debut at Moda Boutique. Combining the core aspects of poolside glamour, optimum fit and durability in the water, this season’s swimwear offers wave after wave of style and function.
Newly-launched and specifically targeting the post-surgery market, Clover Lewis (pictured) makes its trade debut at Moda Boutique, unveiling a collection of swimwear that focuses primarily on fashion.
“Women who previously wore bright stylish bikinis before having breast surgery will be attracted to the brand,” says founder Clover Lewis who herself underwent surgery following her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2010. “We are excited to be exhibiting as part of Moda Boutique; a great platform for new niche brands to anchor themselves as fashion brands, and we’ve been working hard to get there. We are looking forward to meeting with both specialist and boutique buyers, as Moda attracts thousands of industry professionals looking for newness. We believe our 2016 collection will sit effortlessly alongside mainstream boutique brands in-store, helping to ‘normalise’ the swimwear shopping experience of women post-surgery.”
Every style within the Clover Lewis collection is making its debut in a splash of vibrant summer colour. The 2016 collection showcases an eye-catching palette of deep-sea teals, coral reds, marine inspired blues and hot flashes of pink, while distinct lines within the range have been created to target women’s individual tastes that prevail long after a cancer diagnosis and breast surgery. Although fashion is the key focus throughout the Clover collection, each piece has also been carefully constructed to be supportive and conceal breast imbalances.
Also new to Moda Boutique, Sparkle Mode designs swimwear exclusively in UV50 sun protection fabrics. Available in cup sizes B to DD, the hallmarks of the label are super sleek and chic cuts in fashion-forward designs.
“We offer very well made swimwear with a difference,” says designer-founder Nicky Campbell. “We are seeing some really strong business with our niche UV 50 protective fabrics, particularly from ladies in Ireland and the UK, many of whom have fair skin. We know that Moda is a top show for swimwear and lingerie, and we are keen to show out new 2016 collection there.”
