Cotswold raises £2k

Moda Footwear exhibitor Cotswold has raised £2k to date after a 15 mile hike for the Hollie Gazzard Trust. The Gloucester-based label – part of the Gardiners stable – is still accepting donations for the local cause (donate here), which was set up in memory of Hollie Gazzard, who was murdered by an ex-partner.

The Cotswold team was joined by trustees from the charity, all of whom sported a pair of waterproof trail and hill walking boots from the brand’s award-winning hiking range during the hike across the Cotswolds.

HGT is the charity of the year for Cotswold, and the team has thrown its weight behind several fundraising events to help deliver programmes about domestic abuse, campaign against knife crime and to raise awareness of personal safety device the Hollie Guard app.

“It’s a joy to support this local and exceptionally worthy charity,” says Gardiners’ buying director Ben Gardiner. “It’s also been an amazing team and brand building exercise in the Cotswolds, and gives us all a real understanding of the area, its beauty and its natural charm.”

A regular exhibitor at Moda Footwear, Gardiners distributes leading lifestyle and safety brands of footwear to the retail trade. Gardiners will return to Moda Footwear next month with its portfolio of labels, including Cotswold.
