Dutch outerwear label HappyRainyDays will return to Moda Woman this season with its unique offer of raincoats. Designed to elevate function into the fashion sphere, the brand has developed into a global lifestyle brand in the seven years since its inception, appealing to women as an all year-round product, whatever the weather.
“HappyRainyDays has transformed rainwear from a purely functional product into a brand where function, trend and comfort are combined,” says marketing manager Saskia van der Burgh. “The brand has brightened up its new collection with two new lines featuring floral hues of yellow, green, dark lavender, orange and aqua, and blossom flowers in two colourways which have a real spring feel.”
Beyond the striking aesthetics of the label, functional details including wind cuffs, waterproof zippers and detachable, adjustable hoods ensure that the product is as practically viable as it is stylish.
“Designed by founders who live in Amsterdam and cycle anywhere, you could say that the brand has been created by rain experts,” says van der Burgh. “We have been expanding throughout the UK for some years now, but we are looking to continue this growth at this season’s Moda.”
