Brands show exclusive commitment to Moda Woman

Leading brands within the womenswear sector have committed to exhibit exclusively at Moda Woman next season, citing the show’s adjacencies and relevance as key reasons for their return.

Following a successful event last month, brands including Lily & Me, Latte, Michaela Louisa and Veromia have already confirmed their positions for the February edition. Other exhibitors meanwhile – including Carol C Collections, House of Dreams and Paradiso Couture – have confirmed that Moda Woman will be their exclusive UK trade event for the a/w 16 season.

“Moda is the major trade show on our seasonal calendar, and the fact that we had a record show for s/s 16 left us feeling even more positive about the show,” says Lisa Speet, director at Carol C Collections. “With the exception of Smashed Lemon, all of our labels – Foil (pictured), Tara Vao and Lindi  -are exclusive to Moda, and we are already underway with planning our February edition.”

Fellow Moda Woman exhibitor Paradiso Couture will also exhibit exclusively at Moda for the UK next season, following its success at last month’s spring show.

“Since we started exhibiting at Moda, we have seen a significant rise in our sales and our customer base has grown by 50 per cent,” says Kavita Chaddah, creative director at the brand. “Moda plays an essential role within our business, which is why we are committed to the February show at this stage in the season.”

Also returning and showing exclusively at Moda Woman, House of Dreams is looking to replicate the success enjoyed by the brand season after season.

“We have always had great success at Moda, ever since we first exhibited at the show 15 years ago,” says brand director Gregory Cowell. “This season, we will be back with a newly developed range which includes stormwear jackets and the continued development of our signature range of women’s shirts, which we hope will help us to develop wider distribution both at home and abroad.”
