All aspects of summer are encapsulated within the latest offer by Emreco; the Glaswegian womenswear label that combines nine decades of heritage with contemporary direction. Inspired by the chic summer dressing of Riviera culture, the brand draws upon a clean, nautical palette to create a new wave of cool linen knits, easy jersey dresses and sophisticated summer tees for a buildable collection.
“Customers will feel beautiful in Emreco this season,” says Lesley Comrie, the brand’s marketing manager. “The style is effortless and everyday but captures the essence of summer with a distinct feminine appeal. The clean nautical palette is complemented with hydrangea prints, and there is also a softer colour story which takes inspiration from the Far East with semi-sheer fine knitwear dappled with modern cherry blossom prints.”
Emreco will also present its latest Strawberry Bay collection at Moda, revealing a new direction following the appointment of a new design team for the young, contemporary label.
“The focus for Strawberry Bay is quirky prints and feminine detailing,” says Comrie. “The inspiration was woodland walks and bike rides in the country, represented by bicycle prints, tulip motifs and a combination of comfort, colour and prints that will make the wearer smile.”
