British Fashion Award nominees Walk Tall for charity

imageWith the shortlist for the British Fashion Awards 2011 recently announced, nominees celebrated by taking part in ‘Born to Walk Tall’ - the first ever fashion mile.

 

Led by Save the Children and British Fashion Council ambassador Samantha Cameron, the walk from Downing Street to Somerset House honoured the vital work of doctors, nurses and midwives worldwide.

 

Nominees who took part in the walk included Royal Wedding dress designer Sarah Burton, Christopher Kane and Erdem Moralioglu who are all nominated for the Designer of the Year award.

 

Harold Tillman CBE, chairman of the British Fashion Council said “we are thrilled to be working alongside Save the Children on their Born to Walk Tall campaign this year.”

 

The British Fashion Awards will take place in London on Monday 28th November.
